SNOW, SNOW, SNOW!!!!!

So today after 3 days of snowing I decided it was time to get Caden out in the snow to play for the first time. He seemed to really enjoy himself, but it was just to cold to stay out very long. He was only outside for about 10 min. He had gloves on and everything, but his hand still got cold and I had to rub then in mine to warm them up and I was also blowing warm air on them, so he did the same thing. It was really cute. I also took some pictures of the snow and now just 15 min after those pictures it is snowing again and it is really coming down. The car was clean and now is already covered and its still going strong. Who knows when it will stop! I know one thing for sure, I am not going anywhere today. I am going to stay inside where it is nice and warm and dry!!!
He wasn't so sure about the gloves. It was his first time wearing them.

Shopping on Black Friday

Well my mom and I decided that we would try to get some of the really great deal on the day after Thanksgiving sale. We weren't as crazy as some of the people who go because we waited until 9 am to get out. We still got a bunch of really great deals. I was so excited because I got all of the kids Christmas shopping done on that day. We took the kids with us because everyone else was busy doing things to babysit. We only went to 3 stores and we had just left the first on our way to number 2 when Caden fell asleep. I thought that we were going to be in trouble because if you wake Caden up before he is ready you will hear about it. Well we decided we would just move him into the cart and let him sleep! ( I prayed that he would stay alseep because I had tried it before and it never worked). Well he must have been extremely tired becuase he stayed asleep and even slept the whole time we were there which was almost and hour. I think that next year if I go I will be sure to have a babysitter lined up. It will make things so much faster and easier!

Thanksgiving Trip 08

So we went to my mom and dad's house for Thanksgiving this year. The kids and I went a little earlier than Aaron so I could work and earn a little money. It was fun and way worth the time because I got a paycheck and I haven't gotten one of those in a long time. It made me feel like I had done something to help my family out in a difficult time. We actually had dinner over at my Aunt and Uncle's house and we had a great Thanksgiving. They had so much food, but I could only get myself to have one helping. I was proud of myself for that. I am sure I will have seconds at Christmas. One thing I thought was funny was this was one of the first Thanksgivings that my mom didn't have to cook and she was feeling like something was missing so she went ahead and made a turkey and a bunch of other things to make it feel like Thanksgiving at home.

While we were there I asked Caden if he was ready for a bath and he got very excited, as he always does. He was gone when I turned around to get him undressed. I go into the bathroom, where I had already ran the bath, and there he was in the water fully dressed. It was so funny because he just wanted to take his bath. He lives for his night time baths and it helps me as well because it calms him down.
